Daisy Jelagat
Daisy Jelagat is a communications and events professional with over three years of experience in the tech ecosystem and one year in tech entrepreneurship. She holds a background in Geospatial Engineering and Software Engineering, combining analytical and creative skills to bridge the gap between technology, business, and community.
Daisy applies her technical expertise to design and implement digital systems that help organizations streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and embrace innovation. She has led and supported numerous technology-driven programs, hackathons, and ecosystem initiatives, collaborating with startups, developers, universities, and corporate partners to build platforms that inspire learning, collaboration, and impact. Her experience spans event planning, stakeholder engagement, community storytelling, and ecosystem strategy, having worked with various organizations to coordinate events that connect innovators and drive digital transformation.
Beyond her professional work, Daisy volunteers with Women in Space Kenya, championing women’s participation in STEM and advocating for inclusive innovation. She is also an avid cyclist, passionate about exploration and perseverance, values that reflect her approach to work and community building.

Emily has held roles at the FAO, focusing on economic recovery, sustainable development, and climate security. She has led projects in countries like Somalia, Kenya, and Uganda. Known for managing large-scale projects and strategic partnerships, Emily excels in business development and policy design.

Experienced program Manager and Operations Lead with over five years of experience driving complex initiatives and programs in the NGO, Social Impact and agricultural development sectors. I specialize in project planning, resource and team management, risk assessment, and stakeholder
engagement. My work has consistently focused on advancing social impact programs, supporting youth empowerment, sustainable agricultural development, and community-based initiatives across diverse regions.
With a strong background in coordinating donor-funded projects, I am passionate about building collaborative partnerships, ensuring smooth field operations, and delivering measurable outcomes that improve livelihoods. My expertise are in program management tools, strategic thinking, and conflict resolution all aimed at sustainable development and social change.
Jackline Kamathi
I’m a seasoned Program Manager with over 13 years of experience working with
leading large-scale international development and humanitarian assistance projects
across Sub-Saharan Africa. I’m proficient in management and coordination of activities
within the food security and resilience, governance, gender equity, agriculture,
livelihood, trade and investment sectors. I am passionate and committed to working with
marginalized and vulnerable communities in Africa to build their resilience to economic
shocks, climate change adversities, alleviate extreme hunger and poverty through
access to basic services such as food, education, healthcare, and economic
opportunities. In addition, advocate for social inclusivity, design and implementation of
quality programs that create lasting impact, and sustainable policy-making for improved
socio-economic development outcomes, social cohesion, and economic growth.

Virginia Nyauma is a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) professional with 7+ years of experience designing adaptive MEL systems across sustainable development, conservation, and environmental justice. She strengthens accountability, drives learning, and supports organizations to measure what matters. Her expertise includes impact assessment, participatory research, strategic planning, knowledge management, and stakeholder engagement. Skilled in data analysis and visualization, she translates evidence into actionable strategies that improve performance.
Virginia thrives in cross-disciplinary environments and brings curiosity, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence. She holds an MA in Monitoring and Evaluation from Africa Nazarene University and is pursuing a PhD in Sustainable Development at Stellenbosch University, focusing on social-ecological systems and rangeland management in Africa.

Nyasiri is also the founder of Almaherfem, a storytelling platform that documents the journeys of women change-makers and community builders.

Zena specialized in bridging high-level government and donor relations with operational excellence, having led multi-country teams, managed strategic partnerships, and overseen compliance, safeguarding, and risk management across complex environments, including mediation (alternative dispute resolution).
