Designing for Users: Accessibility & Inclusion in AgriTech Solutions

How can AI solutions in agriculture be designed to include every farmer no matter their location, language, or access to technology? 

Join us for Workshop 2 of the AI 4 Startups Program, where we explore human-centered design for AgriTech Solutions. You’ll learn how to make AI tools more accessible, inclusive, and usable in low-connectivity and resource-constrained contexts.

Together, we’ll map user journeys, prototype inclusive solutions, and ensure that women, youth, marginalized groups, and persons with disabilities are part of the innovation process. We’ll also discuss how open and secure data sharing supports more inclusive, community-driven innovations across the agricultural ecosystem.

This session helps you prepare for the AI 4 Startups Hackathon (Oct 29–31), by grounding your ideas in real-world needs and ensuring your hackathon prototypes work for all farmers, not just a few.
